About the Village
Edgemont Village is a lovely outdoor shopping district nestled in the heart of a lush residential neighborhood at the base of Grouse Mountain. Our uniquely situated community has been admired and mimicked by many — but never replicated.
Wander from shop to shop; enjoy the cafes; be spoiled by the consistent personal attention; meet a friend for lunch; experience the delight of a community music evening or a family Harvest Celebration... Edgemont Village is unique among shopping experiences. Storekeepers know the names of their customers; parents and children stroll the sidewalks enjoying the ever-changing window displays; and benches invite one and all to sit and rest a while with a latte or ice cream cone, tucked in beside one of the many beautiful plantings of flowers and foliage.
Whether you’re looking for the perfect gift, a creative haircut, something fabulous for dinner, a new outfit, professional services, a steaming cappuccino, or just a place to relax for an hour or two, Edgemont Village is a perfect oasis of calm in today’s harried world. Won’t you join us for an hour or two?

The Village People
The Edgemont Village Business
& Professional Association
Edgemont Village proudly wears the mantle of The North Shore’s Favourite Neighborhood, but its merchant association members are well aware that this distinction has been meted out after years of consistent due diligence by an active membership that keeps this vibrant community humming.
The Edgemont Village Business and Professional Association provides a strong, positive focal point for local businesspeople to come together to promote and preserve the unique qualities of our Edgemont Village community. A wide range of topics are discussed at general meetings: opportunities and ideas for promotions; discussion of individual and collective concerns; special events and charitable fundraisers; presentations from local business people and politicians; lobbying government collectively, etc. We gather at annual social events where we leave our work hats at the shop and take the time to get to know our business neighbours a little better. As well, EVBPA Executive Committee members are always available to discuss topics of interest with all Village merchants and customers.
