As surely as Spring is going to arrive, tulips will line our boulevards, Easter will be around the corner and for our young Village sleuths: The Great Bunny Caper is on!
Hidden in the windows of Edgemont Village Businesses are 15 Little Brown Bunnies. They are very clever at hiding , so you are are going to have be very good at hunting! They hide in things, behind things, sideways, upside down, and sometimes they are peeking out just a little bit, but they are there!
This is our 6th year for this successful, fun and interactive event for our community children, and as the number of participants increases, so do the stakes! For all the details pick up your Official Bunny Locator Ballot at either BC Playthings or Kidsbooks here in the Village.
Sponsored by The Edgemont Business and Professional Association, this spring event, leading up to Easter, begins March 16th.

Harvest Festival This free, village-wide street fair sees the community packed with 5000 attendees who come to enjoy a variety of family-friendly, all-day events. From bands on the main stage, to Irish dancers, a ventriloquist, or The Extreme bike show with Dangerous Dan — there’s something for everyone.
Christmas in The Village Come December, Edgemont Village transforms into a winter wonderland. Each Christmas, we decorate our distinctive, red lamp standards to resemble giant candy canes and light the trees on the street corners and boulevards. Carolers line the streets, Santa makes an annual stop for a day of photos with kids (and pets!) and community contests add to the buzz.
Evenings in Edgemont As surely as summer arrives, so does live music come to Edgemont Village on Friday nights throughout July and August. This joint initiative with the Parks and Recreation Commission has been a resounding success from its first note 9 summers ago. Here, in our extremely beautiful natural setting, we are able to present the sounds of 8 diverse, professional bands for families to enjoy while spending time with their friends and neighbours right in the heart of the village. Attendance at these evenings has grown to average 1200 to 1500 or more; the series finale in August, at which we share the evening with Public Dreams Society and the Wild Lights festival, has attracted attendees of up to 5000.
